It really is the UFC's fault. They scheduled 30 minutes per fight on a card where they're heavilly stacking the deck on one side of the bracket in a lot of the fights.

Yup. And R3 is even better odds. Taira does not even need to get a takedown. He can swing to the back with his shot and does not even need to complete the takedown to get the back. I love his style. And he does not rush things, he secures position first then slowly works for the submission, especially as his opponent is likely to make a mistake in transition
