Holy **** guys, it actually was a clash of heads.

Strickland should have won, but it was such a weird night, that of course the opposite result was given.

To Dricus Du Pussi:

Doesn't matter much that it was a clash of heads, it was incidental from both guys moving. Not a foul or anything. If the doctor stops it it's a no contest, instead both guys continued with damaged eyes.

It does matter. What you said after that is true about the no contest, but the accidental foul led to fight altering damage to Sean's forehead above his eye which directly led to his vision being compromised and getting hit noticeably much more after that. Even despite this handicap due to no fault of his own he arguably won. The implication is that without this "**** happens" occurrence, the difference might have been made the other way where he'd avoid a few of the shots/ have had a higher output himself in the 2 rounds he was dealing with this damage. His impaired vision due to some ******** is likely the difference maker in his close championship-losing decision loss and that alone should give him a better case for a rematch. This is especially true if Adesanya won't be ready for 300 like he has said.

I get your point. I just mean I don't think the officials robbed him of anything, it is truly just an unfortunate thing that happened  during the fight. Like if he stubbed his toe or something.
