Petrino vs. Pedro
Vitor Petrino, TKO, R2

Duncan vs. Ribeiro
Christian Leroy Duncan, TKO, R2

Rozenstruik vs. Gaziev
Jairzinho Rozenstruik, TKO, R2
All Bigi Boi has to do is stuff a couple of takedowns or get back up and Gaziev will gas and I see Rozen getting a 2nd round knockout or at least at some point. Rozen has had his struggles but this is a HUGE step up in your second UFC fight. Bigi gang let's go.

Petrino vs. Pedro
Vitor Petrino, TKO, R2
Petrino drags Pedro into deep waters(round 2 lol) and finishes him. This is anybody's fight in the first though.

Perez vs. Mokaev
Muhammad Mokaev, SUB, R3
I think Mokaev loses a round and then comes back like usual and gets the sub. If the old Perez shows up this fight is way closer than the line indicates but his sub defense is awful. Mokaev can be beaten and he will be but by who is the question. He was losing all of his past fights until he got the finishes.

Nurmagomedov vs. Almakhan
Umar Nurmagomedov, SUB, R1
I think Umar can lock something up early. Almakhan is actually decent but this isn't even a fair fight let's be honest.

Schnell vs. Erceg
Steve Erceg, SUB, R2
Skill for skill I think both of these guys are even and maybe even lean towards Schnell being more skilled and even though I want him to win I just can't pick him due to his durability. No matter what fight you watch he's getting rocked in it. Club and sub for Erceg here.

Anders vs. Pickett
Eryk Anders, DEC
Anders isn't finishing **** let's be honest. He will win this but I'm rooting for Pickett to pull off the upset.

Oliveira vs. Sopaj
Vinicius Oliveira, TKO, R1
This will be a banger until it ends and I honestly think Oliveira gets the finish. I don't like his striking defense but I think he's able to knockout Sopaj before that becomes a problem. He will have to eat a couple of shots from an extremely talented and dangerous Sopaj but I think he does just that. Great fight.

Basharat vs. Zahabi
Javid Basharat, DEC
Javid wins this because Zahabi is way too low with his output. That power of Zahabi is a game changer but against extremely low competition and Javid isn't that.

Duncan vs. Ribeiro
Christian Leroy Duncan, TKO, R2
Duncan survives round 1 and then wrecks Ribeiro with ease. Claudio is a powerhouse but he falls very fast. Duncan is a more technical guy that also looks for that finish.

Klein vs. Cunningham
Ľudovít Klein, TKO, R1
Head kick knockout coming from Klein. I'm not saying he's a future top-10 guy or anything but he has skill and Cunningham is absolutely awful. He shouldn't even be in the UFC and now he's stepping up against a guy almost ranked??

Radzhabov vs. Al-Selwady
Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady, DEC
I'm gonna take Selwady to win because Radzhabov gasses out so fast. Skill for skill I think they're on the same level and even though Selwady has some potential durability issues he will be fine. His performance vs Hardwick was wild on DWCS.

Basharat vs. Zahabi
Aiemann Zahabi, TKO, R2

I'm not sure why Basharat has so much more hype than other undefeated prospects. I don't hear many people mention the fact that he had a 100% finish rate prior to the UFC and has a 0% finish rate through 3 UFC fights. The combined record of his first 3 UFC opponents is 5-11 so it's not like he's being rushed up the food chain either. He also has 0 knockdowns and 1 submission attempt in 3 UFC fights. So to me it seems a decision is his only path to victory here. Zahabi is severely underrated due to his low volume and slow pace. He doesn't fight an aesthetically pleasing style like Basharat, but I think he's way more dangerous. The timing on his counters, his accuracy and power will be serious problems for Javid in my opinion. Javid also relies almost exclusively on his speed for striking defense, constantly keeping his hands down. He also shows little respect for his opponents and has been close to getting chinned at various times in all 3 of his UFC fights. Add in the fact that he's probably feeling pressure to get a UFC finish and likely feels invincible due to never having lost and people already ordaining him a future champion - I think he might be more prone than usual to mistakes tomorrow. We'll see, but I do have a sneaking suspicion that he is the one fighter who is currently undefeated but won't be in 24 hours.

Can't remember the last time so many people on Tap disagreed this strongly with the market evaluation of a fight. I don't think Zahabi is anywhere close to Basharat in ability. Zahabi literally does nothing in fights. What's worse, it seems to be his brother's plan, he's always congratulated on doing nothing every round break.

Predictions: 7 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 445 Points   |   Tied for 3049th

Rozenstruik vs. Gaziev
Jairzinho Rozenstruik, TKO, R1
Jairzinho is the biggest test of Shamil’s career and unfortunately Jairzinho knows this one is a make or break for his career. Gaziev doesn’t bluff and wears his plan on his sleeve. Struik lands a perfectly timed uppercut to temporarily send Shamil into Sleepworld.

Petrino vs. Pedro
Vitor Petrino, SUB, R1
Arm Triangle Choke very fast as that was most certainly the gameplan.

Perez vs. Mokaev
Alex Perez, DEC
29-28x3 Uni. Perez gets somewhat dominated in round 1 to rally back, rock Mokaev and put a stamp on this one in the last minute. Revving up a crowd and stealing the victory.

Nurmagomedov vs. Almakhan
Umar Nurmagomedov, DEC
29-28x3 Umar has to adapt to a very different style here, but does so in a solid manner.

Schnell vs. Erceg
Steve Erceg, DEC
Controlled for 14mins out of 15, 30-26x2 30-27 Uni.

Anders vs. Pickett
Jamie Pickett, DEC
29-28x2 30-27 Uni for Jamie.

Oliveira vs. Sopaj
Benardo Sopaj, TKO, R2
Vicious KO counter hook to brutal ground and pound.

Basharat vs. Zahabi
Aiemann Zahabi, DEC
Split Dec 30-27, 29-28, 28-29 for Zahabi. Zahabi’s gameplan will be sharp here.

Duncan vs. Ribeiro
Christian Leroy Duncan, TKO, R1
Claudio will be too wild for his own good. CLD catches him with his chin high in the air. TKO round 1.

Klein vs. Cunningham
Ľudovít Klein, TKO, R2
Ground and Pound TKO after a huge body shot.

Radzhabov vs. Al-Selwady
Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady, DEC
29-28x3 Uni.

I don't watch Lucas Tracy much but he had a great picks video this time, maybe go check it out. Should be a great card, lots of fun fights. I'm interested to see what all these prospects can do when the competition bar gets raised. There are guys here that should win, and probably will win, however as we should all know by now, nothing ever goes as planned. It looks like a clean sweep for the favorites, but lets fug around and find out. Good look all.
